KATHMANDU, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Nepalese people observe Fulpati on the seventh day of the biggest Dashain festival in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The Dashain festival is Hinduism's biggest religious festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil.

Dashain, also known as "Navaratri" which translates to "nine nights" in Sanskrit, involves worshipping different deities over the nine nights and ten days. Fulpati is observed on the seventh day of the Dashain festival. On this occasion, Nepalese people bring nine types of Fulpati (a traditional plant) into their homes.
