DAMASCUS, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- The economic situation in Syria has gotten tough during the last years of war, pushing Syrians to stop raising pets.
However, street vendors are still struggling to sell pet birds and decorative fish, as it's a profession that has been ongoing for decades in the country.
