BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China's biggest commercial lender, reported a net profit increase of 10.3 percent last year.
The company's net profit attributable to shareholders stood at 348.3 billion yuan (about 54.84 billion U.S. dollars) in 2021, according to its financial report.
Its business revenue rose 6.8 percent year on year to 942.8 billion yuan in 2021.
By the end of December 2021, its non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.42 percent, down 0.16 percentage points from the end of 2020.
The provision coverage ratio was 205.84 percent, the report said. ■
