TIANJIN, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- China, the world's biggest car market, has seen its new energy vehicle industry enter the fast lane, powered by the country's low-carbon strategy and surging demand. Recently, Jinmenhu New Energy Vehicle Integrated Service Center, a charging station, was put into use in north China's Tianjin.
The station has 71 charging stalls, providing five charging modes.
A total of 852 photovoltaic panels are laid on the roof of the building, generating power that can meet 80 percent of the electricity demand at the station.
The station is also an integrated service center. Visitors can experience "one-stop" services including car purchase, insurance buying and car charging here.
Furthermore, the station provides driving habit and vehicle operation analysis for new energy vehicles drivers.
