ADEN, Yemen, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed Monday as a result of a car bomb explosion in Yemen's southeastern province of Hadramout, a Yemeni government official told Xinhua.
"An explosive-laden vehicle exploded on the main street of Seiyun district in Hadramout, causing a massive blast that jolted the nearby neighborhoods," the local government source said on condition of anonymity.
He confirmed that the explosion killed three people and wounded at least four others at the scene near Seiyun's public hospital.
He added that the explosion damaged a number of residential homes and properties.
No group has claimed responsibility for the car bombing yet. Enditem
