An Afghan carpet merchant has told Xinhua the Chinese market is providing much-needed incomes and certainty for Afghan families, at the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE).
Ali Faiz has set up a display of his products at the expo being held in Shanghai.
He showed the handmade carpets from his hometown for the first time at the third CIIE last year, attracting a lot of interest and orders. This year, however, getting his products to the expo was a difficult task.
