ISLAMABAD, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people including two policemen were injured when a blast went off in Pakistan's southwest Quetta city on Saturday, police said.
A police van was passing by when the explosion occurred in the Nawa Killi area of Quetta, the provincial capital of the southwestern Balochistan province, Asad Nasir, senior Superintendent of Police in Quetta, told Xinhua.
The bomb weighing around 4-5 kg was fixed on a motorcycle parked on the road and was detonated by remote control device by the miscreants, he said.
Following the blast, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
Security forces condoned off the area and started a search operation.
No group or individual has claimed the attack yet. Enditem
