BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Domestic comedy-suspense film "Be Somebody" topped the Chinese mainland box office chart on Saturday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Sunday.
The film tells the story of a group of frustrated filmmakers who gather to plan on a new film about a notorious criminal case. It raked in 66.3 million yuan (about 10.4 million U.S. dollars) on Saturday.
Narrating the horrible experience of a single woman living alone in the big city, domestic suspense film "Door Lock" ranked second on the Chinese mainland box office chart on its second day of screening. The film raked in around 58.3 million yuan on Saturday.
War film "Railway Heroes" ranked third with a daily revenue of around 26 million yuan on its second day of screening Saturday. Enditem
