BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Domestic comedy-suspense film "Be Somebody" continued to top the Chinese mainland box office chart on Monday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Tuesday.
The film tells the story of a group of frustrated filmmakers who gather to plan on a new film about a notorious criminal case. It raked in 16.7 million yuan (about 2.6 million U.S. dollars) on Monday, accounting for 48 percent of the day's total.
Domestic suspense film "Door Lock" came in second on the box office chart, generating around 4.9 million yuan on Monday.
It was followed by war film "Railway Heroes," with a daily revenue of more than 3.5 million yuan on its eleventh day of screening. ■
