SOFTWARE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN
China unveiled a development plan for the software and information technology services sector during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025).
The country aims to develop more than 1 million industrial applications by 2025, and foster a competitive edge in software for key industries such as finance and construction, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said.
BIG DATA INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
China on unveiled a development plan for the big data industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025).
The scale of the country's big data industry will likely exceed 3 trillion yuan (about 470 billion U.S. dollars) by the end of 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of around 25 percent, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said.
FAW-VOLKSWAGEN TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
The new technology development center of the FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. was inaugurated in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province.
With a floor area of more than 70,000 square meters, the New Development Center of FAW-Volkswagen aims to strengthen the innovation and R&D capacity of FAW-Volkswagen and help accelerate the company's pace of electrical and digital transformation, according to the company. Enditem
