MADRID, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- La Liga strugglers Levante on Tuesday confirmed Alessio Lisci as their new first team coach.

The club issued a communique ratifying the former B-team boss in the post he has occupied since Javier Pereira became the second coach to be sacked by the club this season on November 30th.

Lisci's two games in charge have seen Levante win 8-0 away to lower league outfit Huracan Melilla in the Copa del Rey and draw 0-0 at home to Osasuna on Sunday in La Liga.

That result leaves the Valencia based outfit bottom of the table without a win and with just 8 points from their first 16 games of the season.

36-year-old Lisci joined Levante's youth system as a coach 10 years ago and Tuesday's news makes him the youngest first team coach in La Liga. Enditem
