GUANGZHOU, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Shandong Taishan edged Beijing Guoan 2-1, while Guangzhou FC drew with Hebei FC 1-1 in the 16th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Thursday.
In a first half of few chances, the best fell to Taishan's Son Jun-ho, whose low shot flew just wide.
Guoan finally broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute, with Zhang Yuning scoring for the fifth consecutive game.
Seven minutes later, Son equalized for Taishan with a long shot after a free-kick was cleared by Guoan, and as the minutes ticked down, Jadson scored an injury-time winner for Taishan.
With the win, Shandong Taishan sits top of the CSL's Championship stage with two wins from two, while Guoan is fourth with a win and a defeat.
Elsewhere on Thursday, Guangzhou FC and Hebei FC played out a 1-1 draw, with Wei Shihao and Zhang Hui on the scoresheet for their respective sides.
Changchun Yatai and Shenzhen FC also drew 1-1, while Shanghai Port defeated Guangzhou City 1-0. Enditem
