MEXICO CITY, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Cruz Azul have signed Uruguayan forward Christian Tabo for the 2022 Liga MX season, the Mexican club said on Friday.
The 28-year-old arrives in Mexico City from Puebla, where he scored 21 goals in 129 matches over three years following his 2018 move from Atlas.
"Welcome, Christian Tabo! Give your all for this shirt!," Cruz Azul said on Twitter.
Tabo's career has also included spells with Uruguayan sides Racing Club de Montevideo and Nacional as well as Mexico's Atlas.
Cruz Azul will make their debut in the Liga MX Clausura tournament with a home clash against Club Tijuana on January 8. Enditem
