RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Former Real Madrid striker Pablo Teixeira could leave Sao Paulo to join their Brazilian rivals Internacional, according to local media reports.
Pablo has struggled to make an impact at Sao Paulo since his 2019 move from Atletico Paranaense, scoring just 28 goals in 106 matches across all competitions.
According to Brazilian news outlet Lance, Sao Paulo are prepared to exchange the 29-year-old for Internacional midfielder Patrick.
Sao Paulo finished 13th in this year's 20-team Brazilian Serie A championship, which concluded earlier this month, behind Internacional on goal difference.
Pablo made four appearances for Real Madrid Castilla - the Spanish giants' reserve team - during a loan spell from Paranaense in 2014. He has also had spells with Figueirense and Cerezo Osaka since making his professional debut in 2011. Enditem
