MOSCOW, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Russian actress Yulia Peresild and film director Klim Shipenko arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, according to Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos.
The spacecraft Soyuz MS-19 carrying them and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Tuesday, and docked to the Rassvet module of the Russian segment of the ISS in manual mode.
Peresild and Shipenko will spend 12 days at the ISS to film scenes for an upcoming movie, The Challenge, which will be the first feature-length fiction film shot in outer space.
The film tells the story of a female doctor who heads to space to save a cosmonaut's life. Enditem
